Servant Leaders

Matthew 20:26-27st Century Kink James Version (KJ21)
26 But it shall not be so among you; but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
27 and whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant.

Jesus described leadership from a new perspective instead of using people for our own benefit, we are to serve them. Jesus' mission on earth was to serve others and give his life away.

A true leader has a servant's heart. Servant leaders (all of us) appreciate others' worth and use the gifts they have been given to further the KIngdom of God. "Stir up the gift of God which is in thee." (2Timothy 1:6)

Blessings and Peace!
Rev. Tracy
