THE BOOK CORNER

Food Rules
by Michael Pollan

Super quick and easy read (seriously, I think it took me an hour). A lot of common sense, but it was nice to see tips for eating right broken down into easy, memorable rules. There are 64 "rules" in Mr. Pollan's book that essentially are suppose to make going to the grocery store easier. By following the rules you should be able to avoid the heavily processed "bad for you" foods and purchase foods that are better for you. For anyone just starting out trying to eat better I highly recommend this book. Or if you've been eating healthy for a while, this offers some reminders and rules to make remembering what to buy easier.
